Taco Sanchez, the Managing Broker of EXIT Prestige Luxury Realty’s Biloxi location, hosted the Annual Veterans for Veterans Golf Tournament at Bayou Vista Golf Course in Gulfport, Mississippi in benefit of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation last November. EXIT Prestige Luxury Realty sponsored the event and raised money through player registrations, hole sponsorships and direct donations.

In 2020, Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SWOF) is committed to supporting more than 870 children and families. Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SWOF) commitments to support children’s educations can span for more than 20 years. Donations and fundraisers like this event, ensures that their commitment to Special Operations Foundation families will continue for years and beyond. No recipient has to fill out an application for SWOF funding commitment; they approach all families proactively. With SWOF’s commitment, there are no limitations on college choices. In addition to college scholarships, funds from donations and event like this support children in pre-school and early childhood education, tutoring, educational counseling, college visits, ACT and SAT preparatory courses, the E.P.I.C. college prep conference, internships, and more. SWOF is built to empower the families of fallen and wounded Special Operations Force.

“The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is near and dear to Taco’s heart because he was there when the commitment was established,” said Tashia McGinn, Broker/Owner of EXIT Prestige Luxury Realty. “He created this golf tournament as a way to raise funds. This cause is also special to me because my father served in Special Operations with Taco. Taco’s recent charity event represents one veteran, of many, keeping an almost 40-year commitment alive.”

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds.  EXIT Realty Corp. International matched an anticipated donation of $2,500, but their fundraising efforts blasted past that figure, reaching $8,966 for a total donation to the The Special Operations Warrior Foundation of $11,466.
