Key Takeaways from our Regional Refresher in Maine

Last week, the EXIT Realty Upper Midwest team (along with other leaders from EXIT Realty) made their way to the beautiful state of Maine for a Regional Refresher.

Here are some key takeaways from what Bill Pankonin and Cade Pankonin learned in Maine.

1. EXIT Realty believes that the foundation of the business are the agents.  That builds  stronger roots in the community and also supports growth that is built for the long term.

2.   EXIT Realty is a privately held company. As a privately held company, EXIT has a long-term advantage in the marketplace. What you typically find are some of the publicly traded brands will borrow millions just to buy market share in certain areas.This is a short term plan just to get a piece of the pie. Profits by publicly traded companies, typically don't stay in the community or markets.  They go back to the large financial institutions and or investors. At EXIT, we are constantly giving money back to the community.

3. The EXIT business model changes lives. As agents you normally only have two revenue streams of income.  That's working with buyers and sellers which translates into closings or a paid commission. With EXIT you have the ability to introduce a third revenue stream of income which is residuals.  Agents tend to work "in" their business not "on" it.  Most agents are focused on transactions not their business.  We help our agents leverage the EXIT's business model of sponsorship's into a business within a business.
